A must try for all college students

The delight of south campus of Delhi University: -

If you also wish to know about the delight or the gem of the south campus wing of Delhi University, keep reading the blog, I promise you won't regret.

South campus wing of Delhi  University is situated in a very prominent location majorly because it is adjacent to a food market which is packed with restaurants, cafes, small eateries and what not. It is nothing less than a foodie's heaven.

Today, while scrolling through random restaurant results that popped up by searching 'restaurants near me' on google, we came across a highly recommended restaurant both in terms of ambience as well as food. Since this is quite rare to come across nowadays, we decided to personally investigate the restaurant and followed it on the map.

The map brought us to Satya Niketan (nearest metro station - DD South Campus, Pink Line) which had a cafe named - "The construction company cafe". At first sight, we were quite skeptical as it did not look appealing from the exterior, but as soon as we entered, we were taken aback by the beautiful ambience and the theme of the cafe that justified its name. Gotta say it was one of the best recommendations that we found in restaurants near me.

Yes, this is what it looks from the inside (couldn't believe, right?)
There are a few more things that you would not be able to believe which will be unveiled as we progress with the blog.

1. The Food

Coming to the mjor aspect of the popularity of a restaurant, that is the taste of the food it has to offer to its customers. We ordered a ton of food items like the cheesy nachos, the farmhouse pizza as well as the Mac 'n' cheese. All of them were promptly served and looked as well as tasted amazing. Loaded with a ton of cheese, all the things really got us high on cheese and soon as they ended our palates were left asking for more.

Disclaimer; Be careful not to drool over the laptop or the mobile screen in the next few minutes when you come across the images.

Yes, this was the food, doesn't it look like a cheese heaven?

2. The Pricing

After the food taste and presentation, the next most important factor that comes to mind while going out to eat in college is the price. Is it affordable? Is it too expensive? Should I even go out? etc. A ton of questions crosses your mind. Nowadays, restaurants are getting quite expensive, with dishes ranging as high as up to Rs. 400-500 in a good family restaurant, it is getting quite difficult to actually have a filling meal without burning a hole in your pocket.

But, this convention does not apply to this restaurant (Thank God). The restaurant/Cafe is quite cheap with dishes starting really low and going up to the max of Rs. 250 or so. they are filling as well as good-tasting at the same time. So it is a win-win sitaution here.

3. Shakes

Yes, you read it right, Shakes. Now you must be thinking that shouldn't this be a part of food? I completely agree and would have put them there too if they were just any ordinary shakes, but trust me they are not. The cafe has 6 types of monster shakes to offer which has the ability to screw up with your dieting really really badly.

Filled with a chocolate flavoured shake, topped with vanilla ice-cream, Oreos, KitKat, brownie and gems on the top acts as a dressing and adds just the extra sweetness that it needs (Hahaha, JK). These shakes are priced at Rs.199 each and are enough for a person to have for a whole meal (and maybe save some as a snack for later).

So, if you are also tempted to give it a try, head to Satya Niketan right now and experience it yourself.
